Lady Gaga Lipstick Is Unique And Bold

Lady Gaga’s lipstick has taken the fashion world by storm.

The cosmetics company MAC is brilliant when it comes to creating innovative products and intense colors that catch the consumer’s eye. But nothing is more genius then providing top notch lipstick collaboration with Lady Gaga.

When MAC unveiled the exciting new shade inspired by Lady Gaga known as MAC Viva Glam and vowed to donate every cent from each sale towards their MAC Aids Fund, fashionista’s around the world went crazy to get their hands on this lovely little lipstick bullet of color.

Since I live in a small city without mega shopping malls I had to resort to ordering my Lady Gaga lipstick online. When the postman arrived bearing my package I almost hugged him in anticipation.

Like most girls who love glamour I almost did not care what the color was since I would buy anything with Lady Gaga’s name on it. But luckily for me it turned out to be an incredibly beautiful pink shade of lipstick.

I adore pink lipsticks and this one is very vibrant especially after several applications. One or two swipes leave a subtle pink that most anyone can pull off.

There have been several reincarnations of the Viva Glam Lady Gaga lipstick since its first offering in 2009 causing it to steadily increase in popularity without faltering.

This lipstick is a slightly cool toned bubblegum pink shade with a glossy finish that applies semi-opaque and has a deep pigmented luster finish. Those with especially fair skin are exceptionally suited to wear this white lilac based cotton candy pink shade.

Even those with medium or darker skin tones will find the Lady Gaga lipstick very wearable. By utilizing different lip liners to this highly pigmented and bold lipstick you can pull off a number of interesting looks. It can even be wonderfully layered over other lipsticks as well.

Some of my girlfriends found the shade much too similar to the color of their skin though. To keep from looking too monotone they adjusted their makeup by creating a bold and dramatic dark eye look which is extremely sexy and contrasted beautifully with this pink shade.

Another great product is the Lady Gaga Viva Glam lip gloss which is semi-opaque and peachy.  It is very wearable and pretty which can look almost too mod. If you are not comfortable with this look you can tone it down by wearing it over another lipstick.

This version of Lady Gaga lipstick is a power nude which means it is super beige, super creamy and an extremely mysterious shade of color.  Since it is classified as an amplified lip color which means it is a satin finish you will get the best possible results by applying with a lip brush. Brandishing right from the tube sometimes results in a thick and uneven color.

In the USA MAC lipsticks are usually $14.50 and have a lovely vanilla scent which most people find delightful.  MAC also recycles all of its plastic and glass containers in a program called “Back to MAC”. You can exchange any 6 items for a brand new lipstick. Free standing MAC counters will also allow you to exchange for a eye shadow or lip-gloss.  The Viva Glam products however are the exception since 100% of their purchase price is donated to charity.
